Growing up in the Shenango Valley, returning here after experiencing life in South Carolina and serving in the U.S. Marine Corp has given me a unique and well-rounded outlook on life, which directly affects the relationships with my clients. I graduated from Westminster College (Westminster, PA) in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1989 I graduated from Duquesne University School of Law (Pittsburgh, PA) where I was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. I went on to receive U.C.M.J. Certification from Naval Justice School in 1990.

I am very active in the many community affairs including: Board of Directors of Mercer County ARC Foundation, Board of Directors of Hickory V.F.W. Post# 6166, Board of Directors Hickory V.F.W. Post# 6166 Home Corporation, Sharon American Legion Post# 299, Sharon Industrial Development Authority, Mercer County Republican Party Committeeman, and a deacon of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon.

The primary emphasis of my law practice is Civil Litigation, Labor and Employment, Criminal Law, Municipal Law, Estate Planning and Administration.

Prior to becoming a Partner at Ekker, Kuster, McConnell, & Epstein, LLP in 2005, I was an associate with this firm from 1996 – 2005. I was an associate at two law offices in Hilton Head Island, S.C. from 1993 – 1994. Also, while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Paris Island, S.C.; I served as Captain/ Judge Advocate from 1990 – 1993.
