I graduated Grove City College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2002, I graduated cum laude with a juris doctorate from Catholic University Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C.
Before joining Ekker, Kuster, McConnell, & Epstein, LLP, I served as an associate with one of the 50 largest law firms in the country; specializing in construction and intellectual property. I also worked as an intellectual property litigation associate in Washington D.C. for one of the world’s largest law firms.
Drawing on my mechanical engineering background, my practice focuses in the areas of intellectual property, construction law and complex litigation. In the area of intellectual property, I am skilled at patent, copyright an trademark infringement, drafting and negotiating license agreements, website legal implications, as well as, trade secret litigation. In the areas of construction law, I have worked on litigation involving multiple parties and issues, mechanics liens and claims under the Pennsylvania Contractor Subcontractor Payment Act.
