A lifelong resident of Sharon, PA, I have been practicing law locally for forty-five years. I graduated in 1961 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree and in 1964 from the University of Michigan Law School. In 1965, I graduated from NYU Law School with a Graduate Tax Program degree.

For obvious reasons, my license plate reads “I GO BLUE”. My other personal interests include collecting sports autographs which includes over 3,000 signatures. I also enjoy world travel. My wife and I have visited all seven continents and over 45 countries.

I am very active in the Shenango Valley which has gained me long-lasting friendships and business relationships. I am on the Board of Directors for various companies including FNB Corp., First National Bank of Pennsylvania, First National Trust Company, United Way, Mercer County; and Shenango Valley Industrial Development Authority where I was on the executive committee. I am a member of Fraternal Order of the Police in which I received Man of the Year Award; Thirty Second Degree Mason, Board of Directors of Library Authority of the City of Sharon; Special Tax Task Force of the Mayor of Sharon; Who’s Who in American Law, and Past President of the Board of Trustees of Temple Beth Israel.

The primary emphasis of my law practice is Corporate and Business Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Elder Law, Mergers and Acquisitions. I also handle complex divorce cases.

I have been a member of this firm for the past 45 years. Although we have gone through name changes, we are still the same firm with the same goal, being dedicated to solve problems. Originally the firm was called Cusick, Madden, Joyce, Acker and McKay; next Ekker, Kuster, & McConnell was formed, and most recently Ekker, Kuster, McConnell, & Epstein, LLP.
