William G. McConnell, Jr. has become a partner in the law firm of Ekker, Kuster, McConnell & Epstein, LLP. McConnell is a graduate of Sharon High School and Westminster College. He earned his law
degree in 1989 from the Duquesne University School of Law where he was selected to be a member of the Duquesne Law Review.
Prior to joining the former law firm of Ekker, Kuster & McConnell in 1996, McConnell practiced law on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina after serving as an officer with the United States Marine Corps. He
is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and served as a military defense counsel in Okinawa, Japan and at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island, South Carolina.
McConnell currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Mercer County ARC Foundation and Hickory V.F.W. Post 6166. He is also a member of the Sharon
Industrial Development Authority and serves as a deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Ekker, Kuster, McConnell & Esptein is Mercer County’s largest law firm with offices in Sharon and Hermitage. McConnell concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and municipal and
governmental law. He resides in Sharon and is the son of William and Eugenia McConnell of Hermitage.
